The Courteney Selous represents the flagship boot within our comprehensive range of footwear. Constructed entirely of genuine gameskin, each is as individual as the serial number it bears. Select Cape Buffalo skins are hand stitched to form the incredibly tough uppers with a soft Impala skin padded collar surrounding the ankle and lower calf to provide exceptional support and comfort. The vamp is reinforced with overstitched heel and toe box and the entire upper is stitched through to the pure rubber 'tyre' tread sole for all terrain durability and surer traction. The Selous is presented in a Courteney Chronicle travelling sack together with a full range of accessories including polish, cloth, brush, spare laces and alternative innersoles, to keep them in perfect condition for your next adventure. SIZING
Fitting footwear online is a challenge but we have just launched a new program that makes it easy. The SURE-FIT Program helps you increase your chances of getting a perfect fit and offers discounted pricing on our most popular footwear accessories. This program is designed for both the first time Courteney customer and those who already own a pair.

New Courteney Customers
If you are a new customer and wear a variety of different sized hunting boots, then this program will dramatically increase your chances of getting the correct size in your first shipment. This is especially true if you typically wear two or three different sized hunting boots, depending on the maker and you are going to be guessing about what size you need. Do not add/subtract a size to what you wear-provide your most common US hunting boot size and we will covert it to the correct UK size/sizes.

Existing Courteney Customers
If you are an existing Courteney customer, The Courteney Boot Company has recently increased the roominess of their toe box to make them even more comfortable. In the past, some customers went up a half size to get more room up front. As a result of this new design that is no longer necessary so using the SURE-FIT program will make sure you too get the correct size. Courteney boots are sized using the UK system and the size is stamped in the top left and right corner of the logo patch above the heel. See illustration to the right.
